My name is Max Mosley and I live and work in Victoria, BC. I specialize in working with children and youth, and primarily work with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities. I absolutely love working with kids and my role in helping give kids a voice is immensely rewarding.
During the pandemic, I have successfully transitioned to seeing clients through teletherapy. I also have an office space located in Colwood, BC which can accommodate clients who are able to social distance during their session. I am utilizing a cleaning protocol to ensure client safety.
For prospective clients looking to use AFU funding, I am a registered member of the RASP (Registry of Autism Service Providers). I am also well versed in how to use other funding sources, such as At-Home Funding, Variety BC, and extended health/private pay sources.
If your child is on the wait list to get a diagnosis, I can help with early intervention therapy to avoid missing out on a key window in their early childhood development. I can also complete a speech assessment (formal or informal) to give you more information about your child's current level of language and the supports needed.
I am happy to offer a free 15 minute phone call to discuss your child's needs before committing to therapy. When looking to set up therapy sessions, please email me for the quickest reply.
I am certified in PECS.
I am well versed in using the PODD.
Very familiar with TouchChat, Proloquo2Go and LAMP and confident in my ability to program vocabulary and run parent training sessions.
I have been working with kids in some way, shape, or form since I was 17 years old and love experiencing the world through the eyes of children and youth. I completed my undergrad in Linguistics at the University of British Columbia in 2010 and my masters at Dalhousie University in 2016. I have worked at autism centres in Victoria, such as Monarch House and Little Steps, and have many contacts in the community to help you set up your team. I have been the sole proprietor of my private practice since August 2016.
I have been working with clients using teletherapy (using Zoom) since the beginning of the global pandemic.
In-person sessions at 4440 Chatterton Way are possible for clients who are able to social distance during their session. I am utilizing a cleaning protocol and social distancing to ensure client safety during sessions.
